Travel day from Hermosa, SD to Beulah, WY. Had to go into Spearfish for 30a RV extension cord

Cindy did bill payments for the month.
Drove south of here for tour of A Ranch, plus to see the views and let Chloe run.
July 3, 2021
Today's adventure took us to Devil's Tower. We left here in Beulah, Wyoming and drove straight to Devil's Tower. We did the tower trail, thoroughly enjoying ourselves as well as the views. Left Devil's Tower and followed the loop around to Spearfish grabbed steak and shrimp for tomorrow's 4th of July barbecue and came back to the camper in Beulah, Wyoming. Spent the afternoon watching videos as well as cooking supper, which was pork chops.

Stayed at CG BBQ a London broil and watched movies
July 5, 2021
Stopped in Sundance and emptied holding tanks
Drove to Gillette did will call, got shown where to park and did setup. Did a quick bike ride of the grounds. Visited with neighbors (John from Penn). Went for dinner at Mexican Restaurant downtown Gillette.

Took Cindy's bike down to bike shop to get shifter replaced, will PU later in week when done.

upgraded FMCA membership for another 2 years

watched noon entertainment

met folks that do Stressless camping podcast, really nice folks

Last day FMCA 103rd International Convention
did book club with Reid Rosenthal-great series that he is writing about the westward expansion of our country
dinner with Jim and Lynne at Mexican restaurant
watched last evening of entertainment band from Denver good band

Moving day headed between Buffalo WY and Tensleep WY
Unable to leave until after 1:15pm for our unit weigh appt so went out for breakfast, there is a shock.
Dumped prior to going to get unit weighed. Claims we are 1000lbs overweight, Me thinks that is not true. Will check against a cat scale.
Stayed at Pole Creek dispersed camping area as found in Allstays.
Great to have a break from campgrounds, RV parks and crowds

Left the campsite and headed towards Alan’s around 7:45. Very slow drive with a 6% grade down to Tensleep for almost 18 miles.
Stopped in Worland and went grocery shopping and did laundry.
Got out to Alan's about 12:45 and setup plus visited and had dinner (lasagna)

Checked out Hot Springs Park as well as buffalo pasture and lunch at Bear Cafe in Thermopolis. A local cop gave us an old patch that dept had retired.

Came all the way to rock Springs and spent the night at George's house due to slide being stuck

Able to go into escapees rally one day early and will be able to get somebody to look at slide here at the fairgrounds on Saturday

Showers, haircuts, empty tanks, visit George C, got slide opened and diagnosed as the actuator being broken, Kolin & Janet arrived at KOA and had drinks with them at Old Chicago, had dinner with Jim and Sue at steak house

Escapade starts with opening ceremony, etc. Janet and Kolin arrived and hung out with, plus did photo contest entry.

gas fridge seminar, filled trailer with water, dealing with grand design on warranty for slide,

Purchased refrigerator over heating protection device, drove cart from 3 to 6 PM wonderful time, folks next to us shared their door prize with us as they are not able to use it, a fire suppression system for fridge. Went to the entertainment of the evening thoroughly enjoyed them as it was out on the main tarmac without all the echo of the tent, and Gillette rodeo grounds provided the drinks for the evening

Cooked lunch for us and janet kolin, garlic sausage n baked taters.
Shared some sausage with Jim.
Watched nomad land.
Went down for announcements and talent show and all be darned my photo submission won the people's choice award

Helped Jim mount his sewer hose pipe container on his RV.
Mexican take out dinner with Kolin, Janet, Sue, Jim.
Walked down to stables and checked out Budweiser Clydesdale's and tractor trailers and took photos of them

Aaron and Bowen took off this morning on the next leg of their journey

*installed new actuator on trailer slide with Kolin’s help
