2-Maylyn BD May 2021

Enjoyed Maylyn’s 8th birthday party celebration with her friends and the family. Mel made pulled pork for Maylyn’s birthday dinner, and she and Joe had a piñata for the kids to break open. It was also a swimming party, so all the kids had a wonderful time.

I was able to get some video and photos of the kids breaking the piñata and the scramble for the candy when it did finally get broken. It's always loads of fun to watch the grandkids and their friends having fun with one another. Mel’s pulled pork is wonderful, a dish not to be missed for sure. They also made ice cream using Mel’s dad Steve’s recipe, which is one of the better homemade ice cream mixtures out there.
